My fascination with glass began as a child, watching a glassblower shape a sailing ship on the Wildwood, New Jersey boardwalk. What felt like magic stayed with me.
Over time, that curiosity grew into creating with glass—first through cutting and piecing, and eventually discovering fused glass at the Phoenix Center for the Arts.
Today, my work is centered on connection. Each piece reflects a feeling, a memory, or a moment worth holding onto—something to give, to share, or to keep close. That sense of wonder continues to shape everything I create today.

Glass is a humbling medium. When heated, it moves like water; when cooled, it becomes solid and still.
In my kiln-forming work, I aim to guide the material into unexpected combinations, though it often seems to have a mind of its own. Subtle changes in time or temperature can lead to dramatic differences, making each outcome unique.

I’m drawn to glass for its inherent beauty—its richness, depth, and ability to hold light. I work exclusively with glass handmade in the Pacific Northwest, chosen for its quality and character.

I work with fused glass, layering color, texture, and light to shape each piece. In the kiln, the glass softens and bonds together, transforming separate elements into something unified and lasting.

I’m drawn to glass for its quiet complexity—its ability to be both strong and delicate, and to reveal depth as it catches the light. No two pieces ever emerge exactly the same, and that variation is part of what makes the process so meaningful.
Each piece is a balance of intention and discovery, guided by both the material and the feeling I set out to express—created not just to be seen, but to be felt.
